Hello!! With regard to the standing sitting, I've already discussed with Maestro on it. Just to let you know that most of the stand/sit cues would not be cued by Maestro himself. If he does then it's a bonus.
第一场 - All Stand. We'll sit when the orchestra ends the first movement.
After the 1st movement, there'll be a 3 minute break for latecomers to enter.第二场 - Sops and Altos stand at the beginning of the movement, exactly on the down beat, and stand throughout 曲一 and 曲二. Sops Altos to sit at the end of 曲二.
第三场 - Sopranos and Altos stand at 曲二 and remain standing for the next movement.
第四场 - Tenors and Basses to stand at bar 3, which corresponds to a full orchestral entry. All sit at the end of bar 126 (after we cut). For 曲二, SATB stand at bar 55, corresponding to another full orchestral entry, where 贾宝玉 ends his phrase with “冤难告”
第五场 - SA stand all the way and sit at the beginning of 第六场 - 曲一.
第六场 - SA stand on 曲二 bar 77 - a set of semi quavers played by the full orchestra - which comes after 2 bars of accented quavers played by the full orchestra. SA sit at 曲三 bar 3 (full orchestra entry)
第七场 - All remain seated. SA to stand at bar 60 (as if you all know where like that. haha), when you hear a set of 5 semi-quaver orchestral hits (marking the end of the movement). to get ya'll prepared for that, the bar before that is a set of accented quavers played by full orchestra.
第八场 - SA should already be standing for 曲一, and TB stands at the 唢呐 entry in 曲二 bar 4. By now SATB should be standing all the way.
第九场 - SATB still standing till end.
